When it comes to spices and flavourings, perhaps it may seem curious to combine the words innovation and tradition. Not for us.

Alceste Aromi was born in Barco in 2017, carefully dosing contemporary ingredients and ancient family knowledge. We love to imagine ourselves as one of the plants that grow on our property: branches and leaves stretch out towards the future, aware that we can count on roots that sink into an extraordinary terrain. Here, in the Reggio countryside, a thousand-year-old gastronomic culture settles down, a casket of secrets handed down generation after generation with the simplicity of daily gestures.

It is this heritage that we intend to reveal and help the palates of the new millennium to rediscover.

We at Alceste Aromi are proud to produce spices and seasonings for the kitchen, in full respect of the peasant traditions of the area that belongs to Reggio Emilia.
